Mark's bio

Singer-Songwriter Mark Anthony Bolos musical roots began in Utica, New York. Growing up in a family that enjoyed music,  Mark studied guitar and piano at a young age. His love for singing and playing led him to begin sitting in with local bands, and as he got older, was regularly performing in area nightclubs and bars.

In his early twenties, Mark started attending a small church where he first heard the gospel message, and accepted Christ into his heart. It was at this time that he realized God was calling him to share his faith through the gift of music.

Mark was obedient, and began writing and performing Christian music in the Central New York area. His ministry opportunities grew, and he soon became a highly sought after Christian artist in the Northeast, sharing the stage with such artists as Mercy Me, Jeremy Camp, Big Daddy Weave, Mark Schultz, Aaron Shust, Bryan Duncan, Cheri Keaggy, Natalie Grant, Lenny LeBlanc, and many others.

While his love for performing music is evident, God had also instilled in Mark, a heart for praise and worship. In 2002, he became the worship leader at Marcy First Assembly of God, a position he continues in to this day.  Mark has also had the privilege of leading worship for many regional events, including ministering at the Kingdom Bound Music Festival in Western New York.
